Gluten Free French Toast with Brioche - Serves 4

What You Need:

12 x thick ( 2 cm )slices of Brioche (https://www.yettemoosh.co.nz/blogs/recipes/gluten-free-brioche-dough-recipe )

2 large eggs

1 3/4 - 2 cups milk (lactose free if needed)

1 tbsp castor sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

oil/ butter for frying

icing sugar to dust

Fruit, syrup and yoghurt to serve

 

1) Combine the eggs with the milk, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl big enough to soak the bread slices in. Give it a good whisk.

2) Heat the oil/butter in a non-stick frying pan to medium heat.

3) Soak the Brioche in the egg mix. Put them into the hot frying pan and fry until golden on both sides.

4) Dust with Icing sugar and serve with syrup, fresh fruit, bacon and yoghurt.
