Who doesn't like a great Anzac biscuit. This recipe is just a s good as the version using oats. All gluten free and so easy to make!
What You Need:
1/2 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup almond meal
3/4 cup millet flakes
1 tbsp golden syrup
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp boiling water
How to make the bisciuts:
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
In a pot, melt the butter, add the golden syrup and combine.
Dissolve the baking soda in the hot water, add to the butter/ golden syrup mix. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and combine. Form into biscuits using your clean hands. The dough needs a little pressing as it is quite crumbly.
Put biscuits onto lined baking tray. bake at 180 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until golden. Let them cool down on baking tray.
Makes approx 20 bisccuits.
